DRAKE EXTENDS INSTAGRAM FOLLOW TO RAPTORS ROOKIE AFTER NBA DRAFT

In a significant gesture, Drake bestowed his attention on Gradey Dick following the young sharpshooter’s NBA draft selection. The 2023 NBA Draft marked a momentous occasion for Gradey Dick, a versatile forward/guard from Kansas known for his exceptional shooting ability. Chosen as the 13th overall pick by the Raptors, Dick received a special recognition from Drake himself.

Dick’s presence at the draft was notable, as he arrived in New York sporting a striking red suit inspired by the Wizard of Oz. Furthermore, his eccentric and humorous TikTok account gained widespread attention throughout the draft proceedings.

However, amidst the excitement of being drafted, Dick’s primary wish was to earn a follow from Drake on Instagram. He even expressed his ultimate goal of becoming close friends with the renowned Toronto rapper. To his delight, Dick’s wish came true on draft night.

Shortly after his media statements, Dick discovered that his desire had been fulfilled. In videos shared by TMZ, Dick proudly displayed his new Instagram follower: @champagnepapi, known as Drake.

“Come on! Champagne Papiii!” exclaimed Dick backstage, overwhelmed with excitement upon discovering Drake’s crucial follow. Now, his next aspiration is to have Drake don his jersey. “I want him to wear my jersey. That’s my priority,” Dick expressed during his press conference.

Undoubtedly, Drake is an avid supporter of the Toronto Raptors and a prominent figure among their fans. However, he has occasionally faced criticism for the team’s perceived misfortunes, with some attributing it to the so-called “Drake Curse.” With new coach Darko Rajaković leading the team, perhaps the Drake Curse can transform into a Drake Blessing.

In other news related to Drake’s music releases, the rapper seemingly confirmed his presence on Young Thug’s upcoming album, Business Is Business. Drake is set to feature on two tracks, namely “Parade On Cleveland” and “Oh U Went.”
