Cassie Reveals Thoughts On Diddy Raid Of Homes

Cassie has addressed the recent legal troubles surrounding her former partner, Diddy, following the federal raids on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles. In a statement released by her attorney to Good Morning America on Monday (March 26), the singer, known as Casandra Ventura, expressed hope that Diddy would be held accountable for his actions.

“We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law,” the statement read. “Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”

Last November, Cassie filed a civil lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul, alleging years of abuse and various crimes, including rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse. She claimed that Diddy forced her into sex acts with male sex workers, filmed the encounters, and compelled her to carry a handgun against her will. Additionally, she accused him of fueling her substance abuse problems with drugs and alcohol.

CIVIL SUIT SETTLED

However, just one day after filing the lawsuit, Cassie and Diddy settled the matter “amicably” for an undisclosed amount. Cassie shared her decision to resolve the matter peacefully, expressing gratitude for the support of her family, fans, and legal team. Diddy also issued a statement, wishing Cassie and her family well.

The recent raids on Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were conducted by Homeland Security Investigations as part of an ongoing investigation. The case, managed by the Southern District of New York, involves multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Diddy. Last month, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused Diddy of sexual harassment, drugging, and threats over the course of a year.

In related news, a man named Brendan Paul, allegedly Diddy’s “drug mule” according to Jones, was reportedly taken into custody for possession of marijuana and cocaine in late March, as reported by Rolling Stone.
