Gene Deal, also known as Eugene Deal, is a former bodyguard and associate of the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. He gained attention for his association with Biggie Smalls during the height of his career in the 1990s. Deal was also featured in various documentaries and interviews discussing his experiences with Biggie and his involvement in the hip-hop scene of that era. Additionally, he has been known for his outspoken nature and his willingness to share insights into the inner workings of the music industry during that time.

In an interview with Art Of Dialogue above, Deal describes the scenario that led to Diddy’s father’s death. Making mention of a gangster from his dad’s era (Freddie Myers, nicknamed New York Freddie) wanted both Diddy who was around four years old at the time and his father murdered because was supposedly a rat.

Sean Combs’ father, Melvin Earl Combs, died at the age of 33 in 1972 and worked for Frank Lucas. Lucas was portrayed by Denzel Washington in the 2007 biopic American Gangster.

Frank Lucas was an American drug trafficker who operated in Harlem during the late 1960s and early 1970s. He gained notoriety for his role in smuggling heroin into the United States from Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War era. Lucas was known for pioneering a direct drug supply chain from the so-called “Golden Triangle” region (where Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand meet) to the streets of New York City. He managed to bypass the traditional Mafia-controlled distribution networks by establishing his own routes and connections.

Diddy’s father was shot and killed in his car while sitting in his parked vehicle in Central Park West, Manhattan, New York City. The murder remains unsolved, and the circumstances surrounding his death have been a source of personal tragedy for Sean Combs.

Gene Deal believes Diddy will follow the same path of his father who outed the organization he worked with if he is indeed arrested for any of the crimes he was supposedly apart of.
