In what appears to be an ongoing ripple effect of his long-standing feud with Drake, Kanye West has now found himself at odds with both The Game and Canadian rapper Top5.

Kanye recently called out The Game for showing support to Top5, despite Top allegedly making threats against him. The situation escalated after The Game left a positive comment on a photo featuring Top5 and another Toronto artist. This prompted Kanye to publicly criticize The Game on Twitter and cut ties with his involvement in The Documentary 3, the Compton rapper’s upcoming album.

Top5 wasted no time clapping back via Instagram Stories, writing, “@ye don’t make me call @theoneandonlyhonzo he’s still in Japan,” referencing someone from his crew.

The Game also responded directly, defending his actions and calling out Kanye for flipping the narrative. “Na you asked me did I know Top5, I said yea… You said he was threatening you & I asked if you wanted me to reach out to him… you again said ‘YEA.’ So I hit Top5 & tell him to let it go… out of respect for me, he agreed… I texted you to tell you it was done & you changed ya number na!!!”

The tensions didn’t stop there. The Game continued venting on Instagram, unloading on Kanye in a heated comment:
“F*** you & yo Maybachs lil [ninja emoji]… I’ll be back in LA in a week, come get ‘em yo self!!! I ain’t never asked yo weird a** for nothing… You insisted on giving me them cars… Then told me I’d never have to worry about anything again. Now you ghostin’? P***y!!! Nobody on earth weirder than these industry [ninja emoji]s.”

This fallout seems to trace back to Kanye’s lingering issues with Drake, with Top5 caught in the crossfire. While The Game has maintained a cordial relationship with Drake and remained neutral in the Kendrick Lamar battle, it appears Ye’s expectation of loyalty—along with some miscommunication—led to a dramatic and very public rift with both artists.
