The Unstoppable Actress Kim Roberts
Toronto, On – Kim Roberts is an internationally known Canadian actor with over 200 film, television, theatre and voice credits. Roberts has just returned from Prince Edward Island where she was filming “The Snake” to be released 2026. The messy drama follows a 40-something wild child (Susan Kent) who splits from her punk rock boyfriend and gets over it the only way she knows how, by seducing a mediocre guy who happens to be the husband of her best friend.
And the journey continues. Roberts can be seen as “Nancy” in All The Lost Ones, “Ms. Patty“ in Alert: Missing Persons Unit, “Maggie” in Workin’ Moms, “Alice” in The Changeling and “Nina Fields” in The Good Doctor. The iconic actor has worked alongside the best in the business. Producers and directors Stephen Spielberg, Zack Snyder, Maya Angelou, Sydney Lumet and Atom Egoyen, actors and musicians, Drake, Robin Williams, Jackie Chan, Mariah Carey, Lakeith Stanfield, Lindsay Lohan and Bill Pullman. Roberts brings depth and passsioin to her work in every role.

Roberts most memorable roles have included “Marnie” in Schitts Creek, ”Christine” in The Handmaid’s Tale,“Greta” in “The Sinner,” “Neeva” in The Strain, “Mazz” in The Doodlebops, “Deborah” in SAW III and SAW IV, “Mrs. Bosco” in The Cheetah Girls and her continuing role as “Mayor Goodway” in Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol the Movie and Paw Patrol the Mighty Movie. Roberts is a Pioneer in the industry, representing Canada on domestic and international screens for the past 35 years.
She is one of the first to have paved the way for artists of color in Canada. Roberts was the first Black woman to speak in a nationally televised Canadian commercial and one of the co-founders of Obsidian Theatre, Canada’s most prominent Black and Diverse theatre company. Roberts remains a mentor to emerging actors. In 2024, she was invited to join The Stratford Festival Theatre as a lead performer in the world premiere of “Get That Hope,” receiving numerous accolades for her performance as Margaret Whyte.
