Quavo Aims to Be the Greatest Rapper-Turned-Actor of All Time

Quavo has his sights set high—not just in music, but on the silver screen.

While it’s not certain whether the former Migos member plans to shift entirely from music to acting, he’s clearly leaning deeper into Hollywood. Recently, he voiced a character in the animated film Sneaks—a talking shoe, no less—and also contributed music to its soundtrack. It’s the latest in a growing list of projects blending his artistic talents.

But according to Quavo, these steps are just the beginning. Speaking with TMZ Hip Hop at LAX, he didn’t shy away when asked if he believes he can become the best rapper-turned-actor ever. “I’m a great guy. Yes, sir,” he said confidently. When legends like Tupac Shakur, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, and Ice Cube were mentioned, Quavo boldly declared, “They can’t f**k with me.”
Quavo’s Acting Resume

Quavo’s been steadily building an impressive acting portfolio. He’s appeared on popular TV series such as Atlanta, Narcos: Mexico, and Black-ish, showcasing his range beyond the mic. He also co-starred with John Travolta in the upcoming 2025 film High Rollers, the sequel to 2024’s Cash Out. His earlier film credits include Savage Salvation (2022) and Praise This (2023).

And there’s more on the way. According to TMZ Hip Hop, Quavo has three films currently in post-production. He’s already shared screen time with icons like Robert De Niro, and he recalled their interaction in a 2021 interview with Billboard: “I told him I said a line in one of my new songs about the trip I just took. And he was just like, ‘For real. M-I-G-O-S, right?’” Quavo remembered. “I couldn’t wait to tell my Mom Dukes that I’m gonna be on the screen and kicked it with him.”
Still in the Studio

Despite his growing acting career, it’s unlikely Quavo will step away from music anytime soon. He recently dropped a new single titled “Legends,” reuniting with Lil Baby for the first time in nearly seven years. Fans can likely expect more new music even as his Hollywood star continues to rise.

Quavo’s ambition to become the GOAT of rapper-turned-actors may sound bold—but if his current momentum is any indication, he’s well on his way.
