Ma$e & Cam’ron & Boxer Shakur Stevenson Get Into War Of Words

Shakur Stevenson launched a scathing attack on Ma$e, calling him a “fake pastor” with a “failed career” in a heated Twitter exchange. Ma$e, along with other fans, had hoped for a more thrilling performance from Stevenson, who now boasts a 22-0 record.

Over the weekend, WBC champion Shakur Stevenson (22-0) faced off against Artem Harutyunyan (12-2) in the lightweight championship match at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Stevenson, known for his defensive boxing style, was the favorite going into the fight. Although his elusive approach has drawn criticism from some viewers, it has proven effective. Stevenson defeated Harutyunyan by judge’s decision, retaining his WBC lightweight title.

Despite his victory, Stevenson was met with boos, and some fans even left the arena during the fight, dissatisfied with his tactical performance as Harutyunyan managed to go the distance despite being outmatched.

Ma$e voiced his opinion on the fight during the latest episode of his sports talk show with Cam’ron, “It Is What It Is.”

“I don’t want to see Shakur fight, I’m just gonna be honest,” Ma$e said. “No disrespect to Newark, but I don’t wanna see Shakur fight nobody. For him to be hanging out with Terence Crawford and Andre Ward, there is absolutely no way that he’s fighting the way he’s fighting.”

Shakur Stevenson responded to Ma$e on Twitter. “Same way I felt bout his rap career,” he tweeted. “N#### more famous for his podcast than his failed career.”

The exchange escalated as Stevenson continued his tirade against Ma$e on Twitter. “Same way I felt bout his rap career n**** more famous for his podcast than his failed career😫,” Stevenson began. The Instagram page for “It Is What It Is” defended Ma$e, posting, “3 MONTHS AFTER YOU WERE BORN #MURDA DROPPED HIS FIRST ALBUM & SOLD 5 MILLION COPIES & WENT QUADRUPLE PLATINUM BEFORE SOCIAL MEDIA 🤧 #FACTS WE JUST CALLING IT HOW EVERYBODY ELSE SEE IT 🤷🏽‍♂️.”

Stevenson continued his attack, calling Ma$e various derogatory names, including “a fake pastor” and “a Surviving Diddy a** n****.” The heated exchange drew significant attention on social media.
