Halle Bailey, the acclaimed actress and singer, has been granted a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper DDG, after filing serious allegations of physical abuse states TMZ.

According to court documents obtained this week, the altercation occurred in January—months after the couple’s October breakup—when DDG arrived to pick up their young son, Halo. Halle alleges that she attempted to discuss a visitation schedule but claims the conversation quickly escalated into violence.

While securing Halo in his car seat, Bailey says DDG became increasingly agitated and shouted at her, reportedly saying, “Get out of my car, BITCH.” Concerned for their son’s safety, especially as he began crying during the exchange, Halle says she stayed close to de-escalate the situation.

That’s when, according to her account, things turned physical. Bailey alleges that DDG pulled her hair and slammed her face into the steering wheel, resulting in a chipped tooth and visible bruises on her arms. She claims she was left in pain and distress but chose to ride with DDG to his home to ensure Halo’s safety.

Upon arriving, Halle says she confided in DDG’s family, who promised to look after the child. She then left the residence “hysterical,” with visible injuries. Photographs of the bruises and dental damage were reportedly submitted alongside her request for a restraining order.

A judge granted the restraining order, mandating that DDG stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey. The order also grants Halle permission to travel with their nearly 18-month-old son to Italy, where she will be filming a movie over the next two months.

Additionally, the court has ordered DDG to cease all online commentary, posts, and live streams involving Halle and their child. Bailey alleges that DDG’s public remarks have incited his fanbase, causing further emotional distress.

Neither party has made a public statement on the matter as of this writing.
