Diddy Reportedly Looks Different In Court Amidst Change Of Lawyers

Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to two additional federal charges outlined in a newly filed third superseding indictment in New York. The charges come just weeks before the embattled music mogul is scheduled to stand trial on multiple counts, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy — all of which he has denied.

On Monday, Combs appeared in a New York City federal courtroom to formally respond to the latest accusations. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber spoke with correspondent Elizabeth Millner, who was present during the hearing, to gather firsthand details of what unfolded.

CELEBRITY LAWYER FOR HIRE?

As his legal battle intensifies, Combs has reportedly brought in high-profile defense attorney Mark Geragos to strengthen his team. Geragos is known for representing celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and the Menendez brothers. His daughter, Teny Geragos, who has already been involved in the case, remains on Combs’ legal team.

Elizabeth Millner of Law&Crime provided further insight into the legal strategy unfolding and what this development means for the ongoing sex trafficking case against Sean Combs.

What to Expect at Trial

The trial is anticipated to be high-profile, involving graphic evidence and testimony. Combs faces allegations of using his influence to coerce and abuse women over two decades. Notably, his former partner, Cassie Ventura, is expected to testify under her own name.

Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, having been denied bail due to concerns about potential witness tampering.

The trial is expected to draw significant media attention, with proceedings potentially spanning several weeks.
