Dame Dash Breaks Silence About Diddy & Aaliyah & Parties
Dame Dash Addresses Old Photos from Diddy’s Parties and Weighs in on Allegations
Dame Dash has finally spoken out about his attendance at several of Diddy’s parties from back in the day, following Diddy’s recent arrest on Monday (Sept. 16). After the arrest, an old photo resurfaced online showing Dash in what appears to be a bed, posing alongside Busta Rhymes, JAY-Z, Aaliyah, Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, and others. The image sparked speculation among netizens, with many accusing those present of being aware of or enabling any potentially inappropriate behavior at the event.
The former Roc-A-Fella Records executive took to social media to clear the air. “Ain’t shi*t happen in the Hamptons. That’s the day I met Aaliyah… Me and Aaliyah hung out there and then we left,” Dash clarified. “And that’s what happened. That was 20 years ago, that was not in LA or Miami. But I know they gon’ play games with them pictures — It’s cool. I don’t really care.”
Dash also addressed Diddy’s current high-profile legal issues, describing the allegations as “sad for Hip-Hop.” He admitted to being “shocked” by the news, stating he hadn’t been involved in anything concerning Diddy since 2005 because he “wasn’t around.” The mogul made it clear that he distanced himself from such gatherings before anything questionable could occur.

“People will sit there and watch people do things that could be immoral, but until they get caught, nobody says anything,” Dash remarked. “Whether it’s illegal or immoral, for me, I just break out — I don’t wait for people to get busted.”
He continued, “If something’s against my moral fabric, then I’m moving on. I make a choice to maybe walk away from some money or walk away from a relationship or a certain kind of financial opportunity.”
Dame Dash also previously discussed Diddy’s alleged abuse of Cassie, which was reportedly caught on surveillance footage. In a candid moment during an appearance on the Choppin’ It Up podcast, the Harlem native didn’t hold back, stating that if Sean Combs had ever done something like that to his daughters, there would be serious consequences.

PUFF WOULD BE DEAD
“And what I think when I see that… Number one, I got daughters,” Dash shared. “So, you know, if that were something I were to see happening to my daughter… Puff — he’s dead. I’d go do the time or I’d figure out how not to do the time, but I don’t think I could handle watching another man or any man touching or doing any kind of violence to my daughters.”
It’s not the first time Dame has spoken out about Diddy and the allegations he’s been facing. After CNN published footage from 2016 of the Bad Boy mogul hitting his girlfriend, Cassie, at a hotel earlier this year, he condemned the act on social media. “I know Puff, so it was very disappointing to see that from someone that, again, I considered my peer. Someone that you know, because we’re the brotherhood of hip hop, showed a certain degree of respect. But you know, you can’t unsee that, and it’s really a shame,” he wrote at the time.
