Cassie Testifies That Diddy Threatened to Blow Up Kid Cudi’s Car

Singer and model Cassie Ventura gave chilling testimony in federal court on May 14, 2025, revealing that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly threatened to blow up rapper Kid Cudi’s car—and that the vehicle later exploded in Cudi’s driveway.

Cassie’s testimony came during the ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial against Combs in New York. The case has already garnered national attention due to its disturbing allegations of abuse, blackmail, and coercion.

The Alleged Threat and Explosion

According to Cassie, Diddy discovered she had been romantically involved with Kid Cudi—real name Scott Mescudi—around 2011. She testified that Combs was furious and stated clearly, “I’m going to blow up his car.”

Cassie said Diddy made the threat while they were overseas, adding that he wanted his friends in the U.S. to witness the explosion. “He wanted them to see it happen,” she said under oath.

Shortly after the threat, Kid Cudi’s car mysteriously exploded in his driveway. When Cudi later confronted Combs about the incident, Cassie testified that Combs responded with a dismissive, smug attitude. Cudi has since confirmed that his car did in fact explode and that Cassie’s account is accurate.

The Relationship Ended for Safety

Cassie told the court she ended her relationship with Cudi out of fear. “It was just too much danger, too much uncertainty,” she said.

Her testimony adds another disturbing layer to the already extensive list of accusations against Combs. She painted a picture of a controlling and abusive relationship marked by manipulation, threats, and violence.

Wider Allegations Against Diddy

Cassie also described being coerced into participating in sex acts with escorts, referred to as “freak-offs,” which were allegedly filmed by Sean Combs and used as leverage to control her. She claims Combs threatened to release these recordings if she ever left him.

This testimony follows a civil lawsuit Cassie filed in 2023, which was settled privately within 24 hours. The current trial, however, is criminal and part of a federal investigation into Combs’ alleged sex trafficking network.

What Happens Next

Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and assault. If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence.

Cassie’s revelations, particularly regarding Kid Cudi, have added shock value and urgency to the already high-profile trial. More witnesses are expected to testify in the coming weeks.
