Cam’ron Wants to Interview Kanye West’s Cousin After Disturbing Song Revelation Sparks Feud
Tensions have escalated between longtime friends Cam’ron and Kanye West after a recent string of comments and revelations put them at odds. What began as concern from the former Dipset rapper has now grown into a public rift, with Cam’ron calling out Kanye’s behavior—and Ye firing back in typical fashion.
Cam’ron, who’s known Ye for over two decades, first voiced his disappointment in early April, criticizing what he sees as the rapper’s increasingly erratic actions. Reflecting on Kanye’s legacy, Cam said, “From the time he said, ‘George Bush doesn’t like Black people,’ that looked bold instead of bizarre. But he’s been on this type of time for years.” He also commented that Kanye’s once-expansive platform has shrunk: “If Kanye could still get national interviews, he wouldn’t be talking to Akademiks,” referencing Ye’s recent controversial sit-down while dressed in a provocative, all-black outfit.
However, things reached a breaking point when Cam’ron accused Kanye of making Chicago look bad, bringing up his public support of R. Kelly as part of the issue. “Y’all putting a stain on a good city, man,” Cam’ron said in a passionate critique.
That triggered a heated Twitter response from Kanye:
“How Cam say I’m doing anything bad for Chicago. Chicago loves me. I love Cam. It’s ns like you that had me shook to release the song, but I ain’t scared of y’all ns… Thank you for making Dip Set. You’re a God. And f*ck you, by the way. And I got on my 2 million dollar Dipset belt as I tweet.”
The feud took an even darker turn after Kanye released a deeply personal track titled “COUSINS”, in which he admitted to engaging in disturbing behavior with a cousin during childhood. Ye claimed this traumatic moment may have contributed to the cousin later committing a violent crime—allegedly the murder of a pregnant woman, which led to a life sentence.
Cam'ron says that Kanye West has been in the music industry for 20 years without any mention of being gay. Now, he’s conveniently gay when his buzz is is down cam also says he's seeking an interview with Kanye's cousin in jail to get the real story. pic.twitter.com/z0L6W1tdrT

Now, Cam’ron says he’s actively trying to locate and interview this cousin in prison to confirm Kanye’s claims. In a recent update, Cam not only questioned Ye’s mental well-being but said he doesn’t “look happy” despite his wealth, revisiting the emotional weight of their fractured friendship.
This ongoing saga between two hip-hop icons is both shocking and tragic, highlighting personal pain, unresolved trauma, and the explosive power of fame turned sour.
