According to Page Six, sources close to Beyoncé and Jay-Z described the posts as “vulgar and offensive.” The couple found it shocking that Kanye would target their children in this manner. While they have no plans to address the issue publicly, they are exploring their options, including the possibility of taking legal action.

Kanye’s Controversial Behavior

On Tuesday, Kanye West made the inflammatory comments on X (formerly Twitter) and then deleted the post. However, he later re-shared it in the early hours of Wednesday morning. In a follow-up post, Kanye claimed that he didn’t remove the initial statement out of regret but because he feared his account would be suspended.

He wrote, “I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled [sic].”

Response from the Carter Family

Representatives for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Kanye West have not publicly commented on the incident. The Carters, who married in April 2008, are parents to Blue Ivy Carter, born in 2012, and twins Rumi and Sir, born in 2017.

During February’s Super Bowl, Kanye promoted his website through a commercial. By the following Monday, the site was selling a T-shirt featuring a swastika, further igniting public backlash.
