Alsina shared how his faith has guided him to explore love beyond traditional boundaries, including loving other men. “It’s that power that’s higher than myself,” Alsina explained. “The greatest gift that God could have ever given me was exposure. Exposure to different people, places, and things.” He elaborated on his belief that love transcends labels like gay, straight, or bisexual. “Love is much more complex and has much more depth,” he said. “For me, I’m just the kind of person that, because love is a language, I’m fluent in love when it speaks to me.”

However, reality TV star Akbar V took issue with Alsina’s statements. According to *theJasmineBrand*, Akbar V launched a series of online rants criticizing Alsina, accusing him of “playing with God too much.”

Akbar V Sparks Debate Over August Alsina’s Comments

Akbar V issued a warning to her followers, urging them not to accept Alsina’s views, which she believes contradict God’s teachings. “God gives us a choice,” she said. “How did God do this when He says it’s a sin? Does that mean God is a liar? … Kids, don’t believe this. God don’t do this … His word don’t come back void.”
