Yungeen Ace Promises DJ Akademiks He Won't Diss Foolio

In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, Yungeen Ace vowed not to diss the late rapper Foolio. This conversation took place just days after Ace expressed his sadness over Foolio’s death during an Instagram Live session.

Understanding Yungeen Ace’s relationship with Foolio remains complex. Despite showing positivity toward the deceased rapper, Ace’s actions often raise eyebrows. About a week ago, during an Instagram Live, Ace commented on how tragic Foolio’s passing was and mentioned that they were supposedly on better terms privately. Fans drew comparisons to how King Von reacted when FBG Duck was murdered. Notably, the alleged killer of Foolio has accused Yungeen Ace of orchestrating the hit, though Ace has not been charged.

DJ Akademiks reposted Ace’s Instagram Live clip, sparking further discussions. In their recent interview, Foolio was a central topic. Ace consistently spoke positively about Foolio during their conversation.

When asked by Akademiks if he would continue to diss Foolio, Ace responded, “No… can’t be doing that bout the dead.” He also admitted to listening to Foolio’s music “back in the day,” despite previously claiming otherwise. Ace clarified that although they weren’t close friends, they had attempted to play one-on-one basketball in Los Angeles, which Foolio declined. Ace’s mixed statements reflect the complicated history between the two.

ARRESTS MADE IN MURDER OF FOOLIO

The arrested individuals are Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21. They have been charged with premeditated first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Additionally, warrants have been issued for two other suspects.

Akademiks was in shock to see the high quality video of the murder. “They got the clearest Surveillance footage I’ve ever seen in Foolio case,” Akademiks wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday afternoon. “N****s this aint even 4K.. n***a this 16K… I watched movies in iMAX that didn’t have this quality. n***a im seeing the bullets leave each gun. I’m seeing their heart beat through their shirt. Crazy.”
