WWE Legend Sid Eudy AKA Psycho Sid Dead At 63
**Sid Eudy, Legendary Wrestler Known as ‘Sycho Sid,’ Dies at 63**
Sidney Eudy, famously known in the wrestling world as “Sid Justice,” “Sid Vicious,” and “Sycho Sid,” has passed away at the age of 63. Born on December 16, 1960, Eudy became a towering presence in professional wrestling, with a career that spanned decades and left an indelible mark on the industry.
Eudy’s rise to fame began in the mid-1980s when he burst onto the scene in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), followed by a successful run in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). His combination of sheer size, fierce intensity, and undeniable charisma made him a standout in a world filled with larger-than-life personalities. Over the course of his illustrious career, Eudy became a six-time world champion, winning the WWF Championship twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice, as well as claiming the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions.
Beyond his title reigns, Eudy’s career highlights include winning the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship and headlining some of the most iconic events in wrestling history. He main-evented WrestleMania VIII and WrestleMania 13, two of WWE’s most celebrated events. His unforgettable match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VIII in 1992 and his intense rivalry with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13 in 1997 remain etched in the memories of fans worldwide.
Eudy also made a significant impact in WCW, where he headlined Starrcade in 2000, further cementing his status as one of the biggest draws in professional wrestling throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Known for his versatility, Eudy seamlessly transitioned between hero and villain roles, endearing him to fans as one of the most adaptable performers of his generation.
Despite his success, Eudy faced setbacks in his career. A severe leg injury during a WCW event in 2001 brought his full-time wrestling days to an end, but his legacy remained strong.
Eudy’s son, Gunner, shared the heartbreaking news of his father’s passing on Facebook:

Sid really did rule the world. Listen to the MSG crowd when he beat HBK for the WWE World Title. Sid was supposed to be the heel here but NYC said nope. pic.twitter.com/VdhQfE97TQ
