Woman Arrested for Allegedly Making False 911 Call Before Young Scooter’s Death

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that Young Scooter passed away due to a leg injury he sustained while attempting to flee from police.

Late last month, the rapper suffered a fatal injury while evading law enforcement in Atlanta. Authorities were initially dispatched in response to a 911 call placed by 31-year-old Demetria Spence, also known as Demi Blanco, a contestant on the Zeus Network reality show Baddies. The call, obtained by Atlanta’s FOX 5, captured Spence alleging that she witnessed a naked woman being assaulted outside her residence.

“He’s beating her bloody. He’s dragged her back into the house,” Spence claimed during the call. She further alleged that multiple armed men were inside the residence and suggested potential involvement in drug activity and human trafficking. “There was literally a shooting… Literally the neighbors next door, the house of the address that I just gave you, the 273,” she stated. “There is literally a whole domestic dispute going on. There’s like seven guys that live in this house.”

Young Scooter’s Cause of Death Confirmed

Spence also insisted that the alleged victim was being held against her will. “She ran outside naked, and then he was fighting her outside,” she continued. “She tried to get away. He dragged her back in the house… she’s being held hostage.”

However, on April 1, Spence went live on Instagram, admitting that the details she provided during the 911 call were false. She claimed that she had been a victim of abuse in the past and had made the call in an effort to protect herself. According to FOX 5, Spence has since been arrested and charged with transmitting a false public alarm. She was reportedly booked into the Fulton County Jail.

Her arrest follows the recent confirmation from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office that Young Scooter’s death was not the result of a gunshot wound, as some online rumors suggested. Instead, authorities determined that “Mr. Bailey sustained a penetrating injury of his right thigh that created marked blood loss.” The report clarified, “This injury was not a gunshot wound. Mr. Bailey injured himself on organic (wooden) fencing material and/or woody debris after vaulting at least one fence.” His death has been officially ruled an accident.
