Wendy Williams Finally Speaks on “Horrific” Diddy Allegations

Wendy Williams, a prominent talk show host for over a decade, helmed The Wendy Williams Show from 2008 to 2021. Known for her bold commentary on celebrities and hot topics, Williams always spoke her mind. Fans have been eager to hear her take on the recent allegations against Diddy, especially following his arrest and denied bail. Despite battling health issues since ending her show, Williams surprised everyone with an official statement on October 1.

In an interview with Daily Mail, Wendy Williams addressed the Diddy controversy, acknowledging that she’s been critical of the music mogul for years. “What is really strange is that so many people have told me, ‘Wendy, you called it,'” she shared. “Even some members of my family have said the same.” Williams expressed that the fallout from the alleged victims’ lawsuits against Diddy has been a long time coming. “You know how I feel about this? It’s about time,” she declared. She also commented on the disturbing video of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel lobby. “To see that footage of [Cassie] being attacked… it was just horrific,” Williams added.

VINDICATION FOR WENDY WILLIAMS SUSPICIONS

While there’s a sense of vindication for Wendy Williams, she’s also apprehensive about what’s next. She told Daily Mail that there might be numerous other victims who haven’t yet come forward. “But now you have to wonder, how many more times,” she reflected. “How many more people? How many more women? It’s just so awful.” Williams, who has previously questioned Diddy’s behavior behind the scenes, had a tense history with him, notably when he appeared on her show in 2017.

Diddy’s appearance on The Wendy Williams Show to promote a documentary was memorable for an unsettling moment when he claimed to have met Williams’ son backstage. In light of the recent allegations against Diddy, many viewers believed the Bad Boy founder was trying to intimidate Williams and threaten her son’s safety. Thankfully, Williams’ son is fine, and Diddy is now behind bars awaiting trial. In August, Wendy’s son accompanied her on a trip to New Jersey, which marked her first public appearance in over a year.
