Tory Lanez Reignites Feud With PARTYNEXTDOOR Through Diss Track
Tory Lanez is fueling his ongoing feud with PARTYNEXTDOOR by teasing a scathing diss track, showing no signs of backing down despite PND’s attempt at an apology.
PARTYNEXTDOOR recently shared a song snippet on Instagram Live that seemingly took aim at Lanez, but quickly backtracked with an apology. However, the currently incarcerated rapper appears unwilling to reconcile.
On Friday (February 28), Lanez took to Instagram to share a preview of an unreleased track targeting the OVO Sound singer. Though the audio quality was subpar, one line stood out—Lanez explicitly threatens to “slap” PND, adding fuel to their already heated conflict. He also references Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” specifically the lyric about a “PARTY playing with his nose,” a clear nod to the diss track directed at Drake.
TORY TAKES JAB AT PND
The jab is particularly unexpected given Drake’s history as one of Lanez’s strongest supporters since his imprisonment for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
In his caption, the Alone at Prom artist escalated tensions by not only dismissing PARTYNEXTDOOR’s apology as disingenuous but also hinting at physical retaliation.
“I WILL LEAVE THE FATE OF THIS @PartyNextDoor SITUATION IN THE HANDS OF THE UNTOUCHABLE UMBRELLA,” he wrote, referencing his loyal fanbase. “ATT UMBRELLAS: I HAVE A LIFE-LONG OBLIGATION TO ENSURE WE STAND UNITED AS ONE IN ALL DECISIONS.
“THAT BEING SAID … DO I LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THAT ‘FAKE ASS APOLOGY’? (That he only issued because he didn’t like the reaction he got..)
“Or DO I LET HIM CATCH HIS FADE AND WE SHAKE HANDS AFTER AS MEN? Let me know in the comments. FROM MGMT: Tory will call us from prison at 7 PM PST and we will let him know your decision. He will act on your decisions.”
While Lanez has yet to take further action, many fans flooded the comments urging both artists to squash the beef.
“There are already enough artists dividing the city—you don’t need to do the same. We want OVO x One Umbrella collabs, not diss tracks,” one fan wrote.
As the feud escalates, only time will tell whether Lanez follows through on his threats or if peace will be restored between the two Toronto artists.
