Tia Banks possibly representing Toronto on Baddies.

Tia Banks hails from the east end of the city aka Scarborough, but was born in Kingston Jamaica. She has got into beef with Toronto’s other female rapper known as Chromazz. She revealed to Complex that, “I was really tired of seeing that she was the representation. All these platforms were only posting her music. We have so many other talented individuals.”

Tia Banks was fearful that her representation would hurt other women in Toronto to an American audience. “I feel like when Americans probably search up a Toronto female rapper, they see her. If you call yourself a queen or first lady, you’re going to be challenged, stated the Toronto hip hop artist.

BADDIES FROM TORONTO

Tia Banks now has the opportunity to represent her city in a different medium through reality television. She got chosen to be apart of the Baddies audition and the city is rejoicing in her appeal to a wider audience. Banks was chosen to proceed for more auditions and many fans are supporting her through her IG account and more.
