Toronto Rapper Pressa Pays Homage To Childhood Friend

Pressa reminisces on childhood friend who was recently murdered.

Toronto rapper, Pressa, hails from the troubled Jane and Finch area in the city of Toronto. He has rhymed about the trials and tribulations of the section over the years. The Jane Finch hip hop artist recently took to social media to pay homage to his childhood friend Rocko aka LLRO.

He left the caption simply by stating the following:

Toronto police have now identified a third suspect in connection with a recent shooting that left two men dead in North York according to CBC.

The violent incident occurred on September 17 around 2:15 p.m. near Driftwood Avenue and Jane Street, following an altercation that escalated into an exchange of gunfire, according to police.

Officers arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries shortly after being rushed to the hospital.

The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Ibrahim Handule and 27-year-old Deshawn Walters. In a news release on Saturday, police announced that the third suspect is 25-year-old Yahye Hussein Mohamud of Toronto, who is now wanted for second-degree murder. Authorities are actively seeking information about his whereabouts.

During a news conference on Thursday, police stated they were uncertain whether the third suspect, Mohamud, was directly responsible for the fatal shots that killed Handule or Walters. Although two firearms were recovered at the scene, it remains unclear who fired them.

Police are appealing to the community for assistance in piecing together what happened and are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

Residents in the area have expressed concerns, saying this recent daylight shooting is one of several incidents that have heightened fears and shaken their sense of security.
