Coi Leray and Pressa Ended Their Relationship After One Year Together

Top5 has already stirred controversy online just a couple of days after his release from prison. He spoke about the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, Chromazz and Cuban Doll, and now Coi Leray and Pressa’s past relationship.

He also stated how Trippie Redd and Coi Leray’s recent reunion includes a dark scenario.

In an interview with HotNewHipHop, the “Blick Blick” rapper was asked about her relationship status and confirmed, “No, I’m single.” This led to a deeper conversation about the reasons behind their breakup.

“I love Pressa. I think he is amazing, he is a sweet man. We’re still great friends,” Leray shared. “As a new artist, I feel like it’s selfish of me to expect you to be something you can’t be right now.”

PRESSA & COI LERAY RELATIONSHIP

Leray went on to discuss the challenges Pressa faced as a Canadian artist trying to establish himself in the American music scene.

“Not only are you upcoming, but you’re from Canada, coming into America. You have a different sound; you have an accent. You have to do a lot more to make people gravitate towards you,” she explained.

She further noted that their relationship might have been distracting them both from focusing on their music careers.

“And I might be a distraction, and you might be a distraction to me right now, ‘cause I’m still up and coming myself,” Leray continued. “It came down to that. There were a lot of distractions and focus issues, but for both of us.”

Despite the breakup, Leray emphasized that they remain on good terms and that she’s proud of Pressa’s achievements. “Got out of a relationship and hopped on tour, I think that’s fly,” she said.

BLUEFACE AND COI LERAY

Before dating Pressa, Coi Leray was linked to Blueface after being seen on a lunch date at Harold’s Chicken in Hollywood in December 2020. Dating rumors intensified when Leray shared a video of Blueface licking her ear in an NSFW clip on Instagram, and later, they shared a kiss in another video in January 2021. However, neither Leray nor Blueface publicly addressed the rumors.

Blueface seemingly reacted to Coi Leray and Pressa’s relationship with a shady tweet. On June 10, he tweeted, “Dat n**** look like a b**ch,” which fans speculated was aimed at Pressa.

In 2019, Coi Leray also had a brief and tumultuous relationship with fellow rapper Trippie Redd. He addressed their relationship on his album *A Love Letter to You 4*, in a song titled “Leray,” where he rapped, “It was love at first sight and misery after two months / Always feeling f**ked up either by love or no love / I thought you was married to the single life,’ she said / I wasn’t necessarily looking for happiness, just less pain.”

When asked in a *No Jumper* interview if she regretted being introduced to the wider hip-hop world as Trippie Redd’s girlfriend, Coi Leray responded confidently, “No. At the end of the day, that’s who I f*ckin’ dated, and it was public. I don’t expect nobody—he’s a star. He’s a big dude out here.”
