Bad news for Spice Girls fans.

According to a new report, Geri Halliwell has allegedly pulled the plug on a potential reunion tour due to ongoing tensions with her bandmate Mel B.

Ginger Spice, as Halliwell is known, is reportedly frustrated with the “digs and jibes” supposedly made by Scary Spice over the past few months. This growing rift between the two has cooled any chances of a reunion.

Adding to Halliwell’s concerns are recent allegations against her husband, Christian Horner, the chief of Formula One Team Red Bull. A former female assistant has accused Horner of inappropriate behavior, which has further strained Halliwell’s patience.

“Geri has already been dealing with enough stress from the situation involving her husband and his assistant—it’s been a tough time,” a source told the Daily Mail. “She’s lost patience with Mel’s remarks and has decided to walk away. Without Geri, a reunion is unlikely, as she’s often been a driving force in the group. Right now, she has no interest in sharing a stage with Mel.”

The source added, “Their relationship has always been complicated, but it’s become quite messy now. Nobody has been able to mend the situation, so any plans for a reunion are off the table again.”

This news comes just a week after Mel B wished Halliwell a happy birthday on Instagram, writing, “Happy 75th birthday Ginge” over a throwback photo of the two from the 1990s. In the picture, Halliwell is seen smoking a cigar. Some fans have speculated that the birthday message was another one of Brown’s supposed digs, given the reference to Halliwell turning 75.

SPICE GIRLS REUNION

In April, the Spice Girls reunited at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party in London, where they even performed together. However, a source told The Sun that Mel B’s attempt to reconcile with Halliwell at the event didn’t go as planned.

“Mel tried to smooth things over with Geri at the party, but it didn’t go well,” the insider revealed. “Mel was trying to laugh it off, but Geri wasn’t interested and walked away.”

The tension was evident when it was time for group photos, with Halliwell reportedly keeping her distance from Mel B.

“When they took their group picture, Geri stayed as far away from Mel as possible. It was awkward to watch,” the source said. “Geri was there to celebrate Victoria and have a good time, not to discuss the embarrassing things Mel has said about her.”
