Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre recently opened up about their creative journey on The Stephen A. Smith Show. “Be original,” Snoop said. “Right now, there’s so much copycatting, mimicking, and imitation. Find your sound, your production, and be true to who you are, even if it doesn’t catch on immediately.” Dre also shared his perspective, emphasizing the importance of cohesive collaboration. “I don’t like seeing nine different producers on one album. Continuity is everything,” he said.
This emphasis on chemistry and cohesion has only fueled fans’ anticipation for Missionary. While some might have differing opinions on Dre’s approach, there’s no doubt that this collaboration is a special moment in hip-hop. Kendrick Lamar, for instance, recently shared that the duo’s influence on him was profound, even moving him to tears during his early days. Their legacy continues to inspire, and Missionary promises to be another chapter in their storied careers, set to make waves in the hip-hop world on December 13.

Danny Boy Returns to Death Row Records with New Single Featuring Snoop Dogg
R&B sensation Danny Boy is making a comeback on Death Row Records with the release of his new single, “You Are My Everything,” featuring Snoop Dogg, which dropped on October 29. In a touching gesture, Snoop dedicates the song to his wife, Shante Broadus, in honor of her upcoming birthday, expressing their enduring love and commitment.
The single showcases Danny Boy’s soulful vocals over a synth-heavy track produced by Mike & Keys, bringing his signature emotional depth that fans have cherished since his work on Tupac classics like “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” and “Picture Me Rollin’.” The song exudes the warm, nostalgic feel of a classic ’90s R&B love ballad, a style Danny Boy has mastered.
Snoop Dogg now owns the legendary Death Row Records label. Back in 2022, he announced the acquisition of Death Row from MNRK Music Group, which was managed by Blackstone. “I am thrilled and grateful for the chance to acquire the iconic Death Row Records brand,” Snoop shared in a statement, emphasizing its “immense untapped future value.” This release marks another chapter in Death Row’s celebrated legacy and highlights Snoop’s dedication to keeping its impact alive.
