About the Partnership
Since ’93—the management and creative arm working alongside Columbia—represents a powerhouse roster including Naughty Boy, Mojam, Krept x Konan, Zeze Millz, Popcaan, and more. The collaboration gives Shenseea access to Sony’s international infrastructure while maintaining her Jamaican authenticity and Shenyeng brand control.
This deal follows her transition away from Interscope Records in late 2024 and confirms her strategic reinvention in 2025 as one of the Caribbean’s most globally visible artists.
“Boss Up” – The Visual Statement
With her new partnership in place, Shenseea unveiled “Boss Up,” a sleek, empowering anthem celebrating confidence, independence, and elevation.
The music video, available now on YouTube, has already surpassed 70 million views within hours of release—a stunning early benchmark for her first Sony-backed rollout.

Chart Performance
While “Boss Up” hasn’t yet made its debut on the Jamaican digital charts, it’s building momentum internationally:
-
🥇 No. 1 on the U.S. Reggae iTunes Chart
-
🏝️ No. 7 on the Seychelles Apple Music Chart
Industry watchers describe its early phase as “soft rollout energy” — a measured, confident reintroduction rather than an aggressive push. But that’s about to change:
This weekend, Liv On Sunday in Miami will host the official hard launch party, setting the stage for a larger promotional campaign and radio rollout.

A Strategic Reset for Shenseea
This Columbia signing reflects Shenseea’s evolution from breakout dancehall sensation to international crossover artist. Having built a reputation for blending patois-infused swagger with pop sensibility, her new era aims to merge Jamaican authenticity with global appeal.
With Sony’s reach and Since ’93’s management pedigree, she joins a growing list of Caribbean acts positioned for worldwide recognition—including labelmate Popcaan.
What’s Next
Fans can expect new visuals, collaborations, and brand partnerships under the Shenyeng Inc. umbrella throughout 2025.
Shenseea continues to shape the conversation around female empowerment and Caribbean creativity, turning “Boss Up” into both a lifestyle statement and a blueprint for independence.
