Shannon Sharpe quickly denied involvement, claiming his Instagram was hacked.

On Wednesday morning, Shannon Sharpe’s followers were shocked when an explicit video of the NFL Hall of Famer engaging in a sexual act appeared on his Instagram Live. Sharpe promptly apologized and explained that his account had been hacked. “Beware, my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning. My team and I are working vigorously to figure this out,” he wrote in a statement that has since been deleted.

Social media users wasted no time cracking jokes at Sharpe’s expense. One user on X (formerly Twitter) quipped, “That woman had Shannon Sharpe breathing like Doc Rivers on a StairMaster.” Another pointed out that Sharpe had “just been lecturing Ocho about professionalism on their nightcap show.”

Sharpe has openly discussed his personal life in the past. In a 2023 episode of his “Club Shay Shay” podcast, he shared with Chad Johnson why he never married. “I would have loved to have gotten married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important. So I was no good. I was a terrible father,” Sharpe confessed, as reported by Page Six. “I probably was a terrible brother, terrible son, and I definitely was a terrible boyfriend because football was the most important thing.
