Schoolboy Q States His Toronto Show Cancelled Due To TDE Association

Toronto authorities allegedly cancel TDE artist Schoolboy Q’s concert.

The rapper jumped on social media to reveal that his fans in Toronto will not be able to attend his show. This comes on the heels of the beef of Kendrick Lamar and Drake over recent months.

The Schoolboy Q Toronto tickets were as low as $49 with an average price of $110.

The TDE rapper stated, “THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO … CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING..”

Schoolboy Q grew up in South Central Los Angeles and was apart of the Kendrick Lamar show in LA that some saw a Drake dissing concert. He is a prominent member of the hip-hop collective Black Hippy, alongside Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul. He is signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), the same label that houses the other Black Hippy members.

Schoolboy Q apparently made a comment that alleges there are hurt feelings that caused this move to occur. He wrote on X the following:

TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium 🤦🏾‍♂️ if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…

The fans following Schoolboy Q were quick to make the connection of Drake and OVO probably being the cause of the cancellation. Of course, Toronto recently got hit with its biggest storm and flooding in history. The city is recovering from the record floods and is a possible reason for the termination of the show. The venue where the concert was to take place is a joint venture between Drake and Live Nation, a global leader in live entertainment.

Drake and Live Nation envision History as more than just a concert venue. It is intended to be a cultural hub for the Toronto community, providing a platform for both established and emerging artists to perform. History represents Drake’s ongoing commitment to his hometown and his desire to foster a thriving cultural scene in Toronto.
