The revered music outlet released an expose on Tuesday night (May 28) that includes allegations from dozens of Diddy’s former associates and employees. While some information was sourced from previous lawsuits and past interviews, the article unveiled several new, shocking revelations.
Diddy Allegedly Beat a Girlfriend at Howard University
During his time at Howard University from 1987 to 1989, Diddy allegedly assaulted a woman with a belt in front of horrified classmates. According to witnesses, Diddy appeared outside the Harriet Tubman Quadrangle dormitory, yelling belligerently for his then-girlfriend to come outside. One witness recounted Diddy using what looked like a belt to strike the young woman, who was crying and attempting to defend herself, as onlookers shouted for him to stop.
The Notorious B.I.G. Thought Diddy Was Corny
Despite their public camaraderie, hip-hop photographer Monique Bunn revealed that The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur privately viewed Diddy as a “corny executive.” Bunn, close with Biggie and other Bad Boy artists, disclosed that ‘Pac had no respect for Puff.

The group is rumored to have financially supported Bad Boy, according to claims made in Jane Doe’s 2023 lawsuit against Diddy.
