Remy Ma Responds After Gloria Velez Alleges They Fought Twice in the Early 2000s

The long-standing tension between Remy Ma and Gloria Velez has resurfaced after Velez made new claims about their past altercations during a recent interview.

In a sit-down with VladTV, Velez reflected on the height of her feud with the Bronx rapper, recalling multiple physical confrontations that allegedly took place in the early 2000s. She described the atmosphere at the time as hostile, claiming that Remy often tried to intimidate her.

“She was a bully,” Velez said during the interview. “She tried to do that with me, and that’s not gonna pop off.”

According to Velez, one incident occurred at a holiday party, where she alleged that Remy “flashed her little pistol from across the room.” She claimed one of her friends intervened and confronted Remy, saying, “If you’re gonna pull it out, you better use it.”

A Heated Confrontation at a Jadakiss Party

Velez went on to recall another alleged altercation that she says took place at a Jadakiss party in New York City. She claimed that tensions escalated when Remy and her entourage arrived, allegedly intending to “jump” her.

“It got personal when she mentioned my son’s school,” Velez said. “That’s when I saw red… You’re threatening my child now — that’s when I threw the punch. I ripped off her jewelry and stomped her with my boots.”

Velez also alleged that the situation didn’t end there. She claimed that after the first fight, Remy called Fat Joe to tell him what happened — and that the two women ended up clashing again later that same night.

“When she came back, I fought her again,” Velez stated. “She was just angry… still talking about shooting people as a grown woman — that’s not gangster.”

Remy Ma Breaks Her Silence

Following the resurfaced allegations, Remy Ma took to her Instagram Story to respond, suggesting that Velez’s claims are fabricated.

“People will really make up a WHOLE LIE with YOU IN IT and tell the story with a straight face! 😂” Remy wrote, referencing the viral interview.

The rapper added a hint of sarcasm to her response, writing:

“I’m looking for great storytellers that can use some $… submissions are open @RemyNetwork.”

Her post quickly caught attention across social media, with fans debating who was telling the truth about the early-2000s feud.

Both women were rising figures in hip-hop’s vibrant early-2000s scene — Remy Ma as part of Terror Squad, and Gloria Velez as a model and video vixen appearing in numerous rap videos of the era. Their rivalry reportedly stemmed from industry gossip and personal tension that spilled over into public confrontations.

While the two have taken separate paths since then, Velez’s new claims — and Remy’s quick denial — have reignited conversation around one of hip-hop’s most talked-about feuds from that era.
