Remy Ma is Ready for Any Rapper in 2025 In Her Battle League
Remy Ma is setting the tone for the new year with a bold declaration. During a recent interview on 15 Minutes of Fame hosted by Shotgun Suge, the rapper announced a significant new rule for her Chrome 23 battle rap league. Remy made it clear that she will respond to any battle rapper who crosses the line with her during a match.
“I just want to put this disclaimer out there,” Remy said in the interview. “I’m a rapper, too. So, if you have any plans of coming up there and talking crazy to me, I’m fighting back.” Her warning sets the stage for the highly anticipated “Read The Room” battle, scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025, in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
This announcement came as the headliners for the event, Shotgun Suge and Eazy The Block Captain, faced off in a pre-battle showdown. Addressing Suge directly, Remy reinforced her stance: “I fight back now.” Suge, unfazed, teased the possibility of mentioning Remy during the battle. “You might gonna get it, though… definitely a shot coming,” he said. Remy’s swift response? “No, I’m not. I shoot back.”
Remy’s new rule follows recent controversies involving her husband, Papoose, Eazy The Block Captain, and boxing champion Claressa Shields. During the holidays, tensions flared as Remy and Shields exchanged heated words over allegations of Shields’ involvement with Papoose. Eazy The Block Captain, however, has shown loyalty to Remy, vowing to defend her if Suge takes a verbal shot. “Let him shoot at you,” Eazy said to Remy. “I got something for him.” But Remy, undeterred, is welcoming the challenge. She told Suge, “Listen to him [Eazy] if you want to. I’m gonna be like, ‘I was waiting for you to say that.’”

Unsurprisingly, Remy’s comments have stirred up reactions on social media. On The Shade Room’s Instagram account, one user remarked, “Should’ve fought back to keep your husband happy; instead, you went and got the great value version of Papoose.” Another user referenced Remy’s past, writing, “Boasting about shooting ya old friend over a stack 😂 girl stoppp.”
With her unapologetic stance, Remy Ma is proving she’s not just a battle rap league owner but a formidable contender ready to defend her reputation—on and off the stage.
