The remaining members of Migos, Quavo and Offset, have finally put their differences aside.

The two rappers had been estranged since a falling out before the tragic death of their bandmate, Takeoff, and their relationship remained strained afterward. Though there were occasional acknowledgments like birthday posts, they largely stayed out of each other’s lives. However, the sudden death of fellow rapper Rich Homie Quan at age 34 on September 5 seems to have brought the former partners closer.

Quavo announced the reconciliation on his Instagram Stories, where he shared a clip of the Quavo and Takeoff song “Nothing Changed,” along with the caption: “Good convo with my bro,” tagging Offset in the post. The gesture sparked an outpouring of support from fans, many of whom expressed relief and happiness at the two mending their relationship. One fan commented, “They should have done this before Rich Homie died,” while another added, “Good. We need y’all. We’ve already lost too much of our childhood.”

PAST ISSUES WITH MEMBERS

Despite their recent reconnection, Quavo and Offset have previously expressed frustration in interviews when discussing their fallout. In an appearance on *Million Dollaz Worth of Game*, Offset addressed the public’s curiosity, emphasizing that their bond wasn’t something they needed to prove to others. “I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other,” Offset said. “We went through something. We don’t have to show you n**gas smiles and faces, so stop doing that.”

While it’s unfortunate that it took a tragedy to bring them back together, fans are hopeful that this reconciliation marks the beginning of a new chapter for the iconic duo. Takeoff was known for his distinct, laid-back flow and was widely regarded as one of the most talented members of Migos. His untimely death marked a heartbreaking moment for the group, which had already been experiencing internal tensions.
