Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2025 & 2023 Shine in Exclusive Interview
Toronto, Canada — WorldWide Entertainment TV’s founder Kevin Douglas was on site for an exclusive interview with Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2025 Miriam Rose as she returned from representing the island on the world stage in the Philippines. Joining her in support was Andria Thompson, Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2023, who shared heartfelt reflections on womanhood, empowerment, and the pride of carrying Jamaica’s name across borders.
✨ A Dream Realized: From Jamaica to the Philippines
The reigning Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2025 described her journey as “a phenomenal experience.”
“I’ve been having so many lifetime dreams accomplished since joining this pageant,” she shared. “One of my lifelong dreams was to go to the Philippines. I’m a foodie, so I’ve always wanted to try authentic Filipino lechon—and I had unlimited rambutan! The people were so welcoming, and it was just an amazing experience overall.”
Representing Jamaica on the global stage, she says, was both humbling and empowering.
“It was mind-blowing being crowned Mrs. Jamaica, especially since it was my first pageant. I’ve loved pageantry since I was a little girl. To finally have the courage to enter—and then come out on top—was a dream come true.”

As she reflected on wearing the Jamaican sash on the world stage, the queen emphasized the importance of cultural representation.
“It’s an amazing experience. I get to showcase my culture, my people, and the phenomenal island that is Jamaica,” she said proudly.
When asked what advice she’d give to young girls hoping to follow in her footsteps, her message was clear:
“Dream big. And even if you’re not such a little girl—it’s never too late to win.”
She added a message rooted in faith and patience:
“In life, divine timing is the best. We often have our own wishes and desires, but everything is in God’s timing.”
🌱 Empowering Through Action: Giving Back to Jamaica
Beyond the pageant spotlight, Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2025 is deeply committed to her roots. A proud farmer, she plans to launch new initiatives that empower Jamaica’s youth through agriculture.
“I have a lot of initiatives I want to do with young people to revamp farming as a means of sustainability,” she said. “I’m also working on projects for children and young adults—especially around Christmas. The kids love ‘Auntie Mary’ at Christmas!”
Her plans reflect her belief that true queenship means service — not just a crown.
👑 Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2023: “It’s More Than a Title”
Also featured in the interview was Andria Thompson, Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2023, who came out to support her successor. She spoke passionately about what it truly means to hold the title.
“It’s more than a title—it’s embodying womanhood,” she explained. “Being Mrs. Universe is about being a spokesperson for women, not just in Jamaica, but around the world. You can be a queen whether or not you wear a crown. It’s knowing that you reign beyond your year—it’s the embodiment of women.”
Andrea also encouraged more Jamaican women to step forward and represent their nation:
“If you were born in Jamaica or have Jamaican heritage, join us. Applications are open for the Mrs. Universe Jamaica 2026 competition. We’re excited to welcome new queens who want to make an impact globally.”
🌎 A Global Platform for Jamaican Women
The Mrs. Universe Organization continues to provide Jamaican women—married, divorced, widowed, or in common-law relationships—an opportunity to share their voice on an international platform. The competition not only celebrates beauty and grace but also champions advocacy, leadership, and cultural pride.
Kevin Douglas closed the interview by celebrating the ongoing success of the organization:
“We’re proud to see how these amazing women continue to elevate Jamaica’s presence globally. Their strength, grace, and dedication inspire us all.”
