Megan Thee Stallion Slams Tory Lanez as “Demon,” Demands to Be Left Alone

Megan Thee Stallion is speaking out forcefully once again as renewed speculation and online harassment surrounding the Tory Lanez shooting case intensifies. The Grammy-winning rapper took to TikTok Monday night (May 13) to break her silence amid ongoing claims related to the 2020 shooting incident that left her injured and led to Tory Lanez’s conviction.

In a fiery post, Megan called out both Tory Lanez and his supporters for continuing to spread what she described as “lies” and misinformation about the case. The backlash follows recent media coverage of a press conference held by Lanez’s legal team, which claimed to have new evidence in an attempt to challenge his 10-year sentence — despite no such documents being formally filed in court.

“At what point are y’all gonna stop making me relive being shot BY TORY!? At what point are Tory and y’all FANS gonna stop lying?” Megan wrote in her post.

“I’m sick of this sht. LEAVE ME TF ALONE! He ain’t dare get on that stand and deny he shot me — and that was his choice because he knows he did that sht.”

The shooting occurred in July 2020 after a party at Kylie Jenner’s Los Angeles home. Megan was shot in the foot, and Tory Lanez (real name: Daystar Peterson) was later arrested, charged, and ultimately convicted in December 2022 on three felony counts, including assault with a semi-automatic firearm. He is now serving a 10-year prison sentence, with parole eligibility in 2029.

In her viral message, Megan reiterated that the facts were “proven in court”, blasting what she called a “hate campaign on the internet” fueled by bots, blogs, and misinformation. She also shut down speculation about her former friend Kelsey Harris, who was present during the shooting, being responsible.

“Why TF would ME — Megan Thee Stallion — have to lie on this MF about shooting me? Ain’t no new fcking evidence. Y’all been saying the same sht for years.”

Megan Labels Tory Lanez a “Demon”

In her post, Megan didn’t mince words, referring to Lanez as a “demon” and making it clear she wants no more contact or conversations surrounding the traumatic event. She also called out media platforms and social media accounts that continue to spread rumors, amplifying trauma for clicks and engagement.

The viral reaction to her video has prompted fans and fellow artists to rally behind her on social media, using hashtags like #ProtectBlackWomen, #WeStandWithMegan, and #MeganTheeStallion to show support.

Tory Lanez’s Legal Battle Continues

Lanez’s legal team continues to pursue appeals and legal maneuvers to reduce his sentence. He was recently stabbed in prison, according to reports, prompting increased efforts by supporters to seek his early release — though there’s no indication of progress in that direction.
