Last RISE 2025: Toronto’s Year-End Youth Arts Showcase & Fundraiser

Toronto, ON – R.I.S.E. (Reaching Intelligent Souls Everywhere) Edutainment is a Toronto-based nonprofit organization that has been operating for 13 years. RISE supports youth, emerging artists, and marginalized communities. RISE Edutainment’s arts-based programs center on self-expression, leadership, mental health, and artistic development rooted in self-knowledge. Last RISE is RISE Edutainment’s annual end-of-year event.

Last RISE 2025, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Cake Cabaret, 627 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON, is the foundation’s final annual showcase of the year. The magical evening brings together youth, emerging artists, community members, and partners to celebrate creativity, storytelling, resilience, and artistic growth. This year’s event is also a fundraiser for the organization.

This inspiring evening will feature live music performances, spoken word, and storytelling, with performers from the LCA Artist Development Program. Last RISE 2025’s goal is to raise 10,000 dollars in ticket sales and donations to support RISE’s year-end programming and to position itself strongly for 2026. When you purchase a ticket, your support goes directly to providing paid artist opportunities, mental health–centered programming, leadership development, and long-term mentorship for youth and emerging creatives. The fundraiser is in combination with Giving Tuesday, beginning Tuesday, December 2nd–31st, with all donations contributing toward RISE’s year-end fundraising goals.

RISE Edutainment’s impact in the community is impressive as the foundation enters its 14th year. RISE’s outstanding accomplishments include: 1.8 million dollars paid directly to artists; over 4,000 paid opportunities created for emerging artists; and 785 events produced across in-person and virtual programming. RISE produces an average of 45 to 50 events every year—almost every week for 13 years. The organization reaches 47,500 Intelligent Souls and more than 1,000 program participants engaged in long-term development. RISE provides programs that allow for growth and a feeling of being part of a community that cares and supports. RISE mentors offer learned knowledge of the entertainment industry that is invaluable. LCA Artist Development Program – Performance Pipeline:
RISE Edutainment will also be featuring artists from our LCA Artist Development Program. These artists have been working closely with their coaches and mentors to:
o Develop original music
o Build a full performance stage show
o Prepare for live performance in front of an audience

They will present their work at their graduation showcase at the Rivoli on December 4, 2025. From this graduating class of nine artists, three will be selected to open for the Last RISE 2025 performers. This creates a clear pipeline: artists train and develop with us, graduate with a full performance, then move into real opportunities to open for headliners and perform on professional stages for small and large audiences.
