Kodak Black Criticizes Plies Over Donald Trump Remarks After Assassination Attempt
Kodak Black has publicly criticized Plies for his ongoing criticism of Donald Trump.
Earlier this week, Kodak Black took to Instagram Live to address Plies after Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Kodak, a supporter of the former President since Trump pardoned him for gun charges in 2021, urged Plies to stop speaking negatively about Trump. “We ain’t going for no Trump slander,” Kodak said, mentioning Plies. “Trump ain’t done nothing to you. You feel me? You rich. We rich.” Plies has been a vocal critic of the Republican candidate for years.
When No Jumper shared the clip on Instagram, reactions from hip-hop fans were mixed. Some defended Kodak’s loyalty to Trump. “Ngl if a n***a free me from prison u my dawg for life,” one fan commented. Others praised Plies for his stance: “Plies get so much respect from me he’s not voting for the guy that’ll feed his interest since he’s a millionaire he’s voting for the best interests of his people who don’t got it and who’s policies aren’t aligned with the republican agenda.”
Donald Trump Survives Assassination Attempt in Pennsylvania
Kodak’s livestream came in the wake of an assassination attempt on Trump, where a bullet grazed his head while he was speaking in Pennsylvania on Saturday. “I’m not supposed to be here, I’m supposed to be dead,” Trump told the New York Post afterward. “I’m supposed to be dead. The doctor at the hospital said he never saw anything like this, he called it a miracle.” Trump narrowly avoided a fatal injury by turning his head slightly to the right just before the shot was fired, resulting in the bullet only nicking his ear.
