The tension between Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane’s wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, has heated up after Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse Ka’Oir of keeping Gucci “sedated.” In response, Ka’Oir appeared to fire back subtly — by sharing a video of herself vibing to a Cardi B track on Instagram.

Minaj and Cardi B have been reigniting their long-standing feud in recent weeks, exchanging numerous jabs online. Ka’Oir’s choice to play Cardi’s music was seen by fans as a not-so-subtle statement, given the ongoing friction between the two rap queens.


Nicki Minaj’s Accusations

The drama began after Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’Oir appeared on The Breakfast Club earlier this week to discuss their marriage, mental health, and Gucci’s new memoir, Episodes. Following the interview, Nicki Minaj unleashed a lengthy post on X, claiming Ka’Oir had been “trying to be [her] for years” and suggesting she was controlling Gucci’s actions.

“Gucci wife has been trying to be me for years. Been dying for the spotlight for years. She’s there to keep Gucci sedated,” Minaj wrote. She went on to mention Gucci’s former manager, Debra Antney, and accused media figures like Charlamagne tha God of being part of “disgusting ploys against innocent families.”


Keyshia Ka’Oir’s Calm Clapback

Rather than respond directly, Ka’Oir chose to post a short clip to her Instagram Stories, showing herself listening to Cardi B — a move that social media quickly interpreted as a strategic clapback. Her caption read: “I’m like nah…….since when ….. out here embarrassing ….”

Fans immediately speculated that the post was a tongue-in-cheek response to Nicki’s accusations, with many praising Ka’Oir for keeping her composure and letting her actions do the talking.

Gucci Mane Opens Up About His Mental Health

During their Breakfast Club interview, Ka’Oir and Gucci Mane discussed the rapper’s struggles with mental health — a major theme in his new book, Episodes. Ka’Oir explained how she helps Gucci manage his mental state during difficult times.

“I have a system,” she said. “I take his apps off his phone. First thing I do is delete Instagram. I delete everything — even if I gotta change his password. I don’t need the public to know he’s having an episode. You realize you haven’t known about any other episodes since September 13? That’s because I control that.”

She added that her proactive approach has helped prevent future breakdowns, allowing Gucci to stay focused and balanced.
