Kendrick Lamar Affiliate Hitta J3 Accused By DJ Akademiks Of Top5’s Arrest

Hitta J3 Clashes with DJ Akademiks Over Kendrick Lamar Connection and Top5 Arrest Allegations

Hitta J3 recently confronted DJ Akademiks during a livestream, sparking a tense exchange. Akademiks had questioned the legitimacy of Hitta J3’s past claims of being Kendrick Lamar’s cousin. In response, Hitta J3 dismissed the relevance of the claim, stating, “It doesn’t matter if I am or not.” The conversation escalated when Akademiks suggested that Hitta J3 might have played a role in Toronto rapper Top5’s recent arrest. Top5 was reportedly taken into custody last week following a raid and now faces charges for unauthorized possession of a firearm and prohibited gun possession.

“Respectfully, Top5’s team is saying he got on FaceTime with y’all, and now he’s locked up over a video. He thinks y’all told on him,” Akademiks alleged. Hitta J3 quickly denied any involvement, replying, “My people were right here when I was on the phone with Top5. Did I ever do anything with that footage? No.” As Akademiks pressed further, Hitta J3 doubled down, stating, “I don’t beef with Canadians.”

Hitta J3 Addresses Recent Drama with DJ Akademiks and Top5

This heated interaction follows weeks of tension between Hitta J3 and Top5. Earlier this month, Hitta J3 dissed the Toronto rapper in his track “Billy Butcherson.” However, Top5 and Akademiks are not the only ones on Hitta J3’s radar. He recently clashed with Ice, a co-host of Joe Budden’s podcast, over remarks about his appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album, GNX.

During the podcast, Ice reflected on his criticism, saying, “I said, ‘I wish dude didn’t put son on his album,’ but it seems like everybody knew who I was talking about. They tagged him, and he went off on social media, saying, ‘If you don’t like what I said, do something about it.’ I did. I muted him, so I won’t see him anymore.”

With tensions brewing on multiple fronts, Hitta J3’s recent controversies continue to attract attention across the music industry.

WACK 100 has also been brought up as someone that could have incriminated Top5 to go back to prison.
