Kanye West isn’t holding back after Cam’ron took aim at both him and R. Kelly, accusing the two artists of tarnishing Chicago’s legacy. In a now-deleted tweet, Ye fired back at the Harlem rapper, mixing praise with a dose of disrespect.

“How Cam say I’m doing anything bad for Chicago?” Kanye wrote. “Chicago loves me. I love Cam. It’s nas like you that had me shook to release the song, but I ain’t scared of y’all nas. And thank you for making Dipset. You’re a God. And f**k you, by the way. I got on my $2 million Dipset belt as I tweet.”

Cam’ron’s comments came during an episode of his sports show It Is What It Is, co-hosted by Mase. He took issue with Kanye’s recent track “Cousins,” where Ye makes shocking claims about childhood experiences involving his male cousin. Cam didn’t hold back, saying:

“Two of the biggest superstars… from Chicago, and it’s molestation, nasty, peeing on b*hes… Y’all putting a stain on a good city, man. Y’all need to cut the st, baby.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Kanye recently called for R. Kelly’s release from prison, tweeting “FREE R KELLY” and praising the singer for still repping Chicago spirit—even behind bars wearing Yeezys.

While Kanye and Cam’ron once shared a mutual respect, their recent clash raises questions about whether they’ll reconcile or continue to trade jabs online.
