John Campea Praises Jaafar Jackson’s Acting As Michael Jackson
John Campea makes it known that Jaafar Jackson gives great performance.
The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, titled Michael, will focus on the life and career of the iconic pop star. The film is being directed by Antoine Fuqua, known for works like *Training Day* and *Emancipation*, and produced by Graham King, who also produced the acclaimed biopic *Bohemian Rhapsody* about Freddie Mercury. Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, has been cast to portray him, adding a familial connection to the performance.

The biopic aims to cover Jackson’s rise to fame, his groundbreaking contributions to music and dance, as well as the complexities of his personal life. It is expected to feature many of his hit songs, capturing his influence on the music industry. The filmmakers have indicated they want to explore both the successes and controversies surrounding Jackson’s life, aiming to provide a balanced perspective.
Campea was able to see a short presentation of the film and a first look during a secret screening at CinemaCon 2024 in Las Vegas. He stated “It was like watching Michael Jackson in a Michael Jackson biopic.”
