Joe Budden Shuts Down Rumors About Diddy’s Alleged ‘Freak Off’ Tapes

Joe Budden has firmly denied rumors suggesting he’s involved in Diddy’s alleged drug-fueled orgy tapes. Diddy’s recent 14-page indictment, which details accusations of him hosting and recording these so-called “freak offs,” has sparked intense speculation online about which celebrities might have been caught on camera. However, Joe Budden is making it clear: he’s not one of them.

On Thursday (Sept. 26), “The Joe Budden Podcast” released a segment addressing the ongoing scandal involving Diddy. At around the 1:45 mark in the video uploaded to YouTube, Joe addressed the rumors directly, saying, “For the last time, can y’all take me off the list of names that y’all think is on these tapes? Why are y’all so hell-bent on putting people on these tapes?… I ran the jokes long but I thought the joke was a joke because of who I be.”

The speculation about Budden’s involvement started after footage surfaced showing him attending a Diddy party, coupled with the fact that Joe went on vacation the same day Diddy was arrested, leading some to joke about the coincidence.

Budden continued, “Clearly it’s a new crop of people out there that don’t know who I be, so they’re like, ‘Oh, he might be that.’ I ain’t. No more jokes. Even though I was a force in that world for like three weeks. They was ready to trick. They was offering vacays and Fifth Avenue shopping sprees without even an inch of flirting.”

Diddy’s Scandal Shakes Hip-Hop

Diddy has been dominating headlines for the past two weeks after his recent arrest and indictment on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The 14-page indictment alleges that Diddy hosted sex parties, employed prostitutes, provided drugs, and forced or coerced others to participate in these events.

Diddy has since pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he will remain until his trial.
