Joe Biden Campaign Reacts to Donald Trump’s Guilty Verdict
Donald Trump’s recently concluded trial in New York has captured the political news cycle for weeks. Both inside and outside the courtroom, prosecutors argued that the former president committed numerous crimes as part of a scheme to pay porn actress Stormy Daniels to keep their affair secret until after the 2016 election. Earlier today, the verdict was revealed: Trump was found guilty of all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records he faced.
Following the verdict, it didn’t take long for Trump’s main political opponent, Joe Biden, to comment. The current president took to Twitter to share a short statement: “There’s only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: At the ballot box,” the post read, accompanied by a link to donate to his campaign. This was part of a full statement that later appeared on Instagram. “In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law,” the statement began. It condemned Trump for his routine lawbreaking and warned that a second term of his presidency would bring chaos. Read the full statement below.

Additionally, DJ Akademiks quickly responded to the verdict, claiming that Trump’s guilty verdict made him want to vote for the former president even more. Unsurprisingly, this statement received significant backlash from fans. Many have speculated that the trial could actually increase Trump’s popularity with his base.

But you can’t pay your side piece off with money from your business 🤷🏽 That’s the law I didn’t make it.
