Jennifer Lopez & Her Team On “High Alert” After Diddy Arrest
The past relationship between Jennifer Lopez and Diddy is a worry to JLO.
Jennifer Lopez and her management team are reportedly on “high alert” as they brace for the possibility of her becoming entangled in ongoing criminal investigations involving her former boyfriend, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
According to the Daily Mail, sources indicate that Lopez’s team has had discussions about whether she should publicly address the 1999 incident when she was arrested alongside the rapper. This incident occurred on December 27, 1999, following a shooting outside the Times Square Club that injured Natania Reuben and two others.
THE AFTERMATH OF THE NY CLUB SHOOTING
During that period, Jennifer Lopez was dating Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and was taken into custody after a gun was discovered in his car, which they used to flee the scene. Lopez ended up spending approximately 14 hours in a jail cell before authorities cleared her of any involvement in the crime. Meanwhile, Combs and his bodyguard, Anthony ‘Wolf’ Jones, faced charges.
Eventually, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his bodyguard were acquitted, while rapper Jamal ‘Shyne’ Barrow was found guilty and sentenced to nine years in prison. Despite this outcome, victim Natania Reuben, who suffered permanent injuries from bullet fragments lodged in her face, has consistently claimed that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was the one who fired the weapon.
With Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs recently taken into custody again, there is increasing pressure for the case to be reopened, with speculation that Jamal ‘Shyne’ Barrow may have served as a scapegoat.
In the midst of this renewed attention, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly feeling “stressed out” by the situation.
RESURFACED PHOTOS OF JLO AND DIDDY
The resurfacing of these images follows a viral clip of Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, expressing anger when asked about the possibility of a romantic reunion with Diddy after his recent sex trafficking arrest.
In 2015, Jennifer made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show with her mother sitting in the audience.
During the show, Wendy Williams, the host, showed curiosity about whether there was any chance of rekindling the romance. She mentioned, “If you remember, the last time you were here, I said that I could always picture you getting back together with Puffy in some way.”
