Jadakiss Reminisces On A GOAT Party Held By Diddy

Jadakiss Reflects on Why Diddy’s Parties Were Legendary

Jadakiss recently shared his thoughts on why Diddy’s parties were once considered legendary, clarifying that his praise comes from experiences before the current wave of allegations against the music mogul.

With recent legal accusations, both federal and civil, swirling around Diddy, his once-famous parties are being viewed in a different light. However, prior to the scandal, these gatherings held a revered place in the culture. Jadakiss, while appearing on Complex’s “GOAT Talk” series with his son Jae’Won, offered some insight into why these events were so highly regarded. Reflecting on his time with Bad Boy Records, the LOX rapper explained how joining the label introduced him and his group to an entirely new social scene.

SOME OF THE BEST PARTIES

“Some of the best parties we ever went to were Diddy parties! This was long before anything, any [allegations], any of that,” Jadakiss emphasized. Before signing with Bad Boy, he explained, his group was only used to attending “house parties and parties in gymnasiums.” The opulence of Diddy’s events, often hosted in upscale venues like Cipriani, was unlike anything they had experienced before.

Jadakiss recounted a specific memory of one of these legendary gatherings, describing a tour launch party thrown by Diddy. “We had a party, then the tour buses were outside, and then we went on tour after the party. That was the GOAT party, that was incredible,” he recalled.

Although the current allegations have cast a shadow over Diddy’s past behavior at these parties, Jadakiss made it clear that his comments refer strictly to the positive aspects of the events he attended. While there are serious accusations surrounding these parties, Jadakiss’ memories focus on the good times, and he wanted to ensure that distinction was understood by the audience.

In a complicated situation, his reflection reminds us that two things can be true at once.
