Hulk Hogan Cuts Hulkamania Style Promo For Donald Trump

Hulk Hogan was characterized as a “Real American” in the larger than life 1980s era.

He once thanked God for Donald Trump being a Hulkamaniac and decades later he has paid it forward to the former president running for a second term. He ripped off his shirt and declared Donald Trump his “hero.”

Just like Hulk Hogan’s heyday of the 1980’s, he had the audience chanting “USA! USA!,” Hogan spoke about the assassination attempt on Trump, saying “enough was enough” as he tore his shirt to reveal a Trump-Vance muscle tank underneath.

THE MEGA POWERS OF POLITICS

Comparing Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, to himself and “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Hogan said they were the “greatest tag team of my life.” Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan were main attractions in the early days of WrestleMania and were the headlining stars at the old Trump Casino for WrestleMania IV and V in 1988 and 1989.

Previously, Hogan had endorsed Barack Obama and hinted at a presidential run himself. However, he had not publicly shared his thoughts on the 2024 election until now. During his stint in WCW, Hulk Hogan announced he was running for president as a publicity stunt for the NWO.

Hogan’s most significant political role to date was in the court battle that led to the downfall of the popular gossip blog Gawker, symbolizing a larger cultural conflict.

Trump’s participation in the world of pro wrestling also includes involvement with the ring action with former WWE owner Vince Mcmahon. Trump got into it with one of the most popular stars int he business’ history in “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. WWE is now owned by TKO that also owns Dana White’s former company he still resides as president over, Ultimate Fighting Championship. White also endorsed Trump on Thursday.

Hulk Hogan rose to fame in the early 80s as Thunderlips in Rocky III. He would end up helping WWF now known as WWE into a global phenomenon with his featured bouts against the likes of Iron Sheik, Andre The Giant, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Ultimate Warrior and more. He even faced a Donald Trump like character known as “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, who attempted to “buy” the WWE’s world title from Hogan with a glittery, gold-studded championship belt.
