Havoc Announces A New Mobb Deep Album In Works

The legendary Havoc of Mobb Deep surprised fans with announcement.

Mobb Deep was a highly influential American hip-hop duo from Queensbridge, New York City, consisting of Havoc (Kejuan Muchita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson). Formed in 1991, they became one of the most successful and critically acclaimed groups in the hardcore East Coast hip-hop scene.

Tragically, Prodigy passed away on June 20, 2017, due to complications related to sickle cell anemia, a condition he had battled throughout his life. His death marked the end of Mobb Deep as a duo, but their music continues to resonate with fans worldwide.

NEW MOBB DEEP ALBUM

Havoc revealed that there is a new album coming from Mobb Deep. It is unknown however as of this writing if we are going to hear any unreleased verses from Prodigy.

WORLDWIDE EXCLUSIVE THROWBACK WITH MOBB DEEP IN TORONTO

Mobb Deep was scheduled to perform in Toronto last night, but sadly, their show was cut short after a heated altercation. Luckily, Worldwide Entertainment TV was there to capture it all – and you can watch the full show right here! This is one of the last Canadian performances by Mobb Deep.

Havoc and Prodigy met while attending the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan. Initially known as “Poetical Prophets,” they later changed their name to Mobb Deep. Their debut album, “Juvenile Hell,” was released in 1993, but it received little commercial success.

Mobb Deep’s breakthrough came with their second album, “The Infamous,” released in 1995. The album is regarded as a classic in the genre, featuring gritty street narratives and dark, atmospheric production. Key tracks include “Shook Ones Pt. II” and “Survival of the Fittest,” which are still celebrated for their lyrical prowess and haunting beats.
