Don King Wants Donald Trump To Be President Again

Don King, 93, Responds to Health Concerns Raised by Mike Tyson

Iconic boxing promoter Don King, now 93, has reassured fans that he is “doing fine” at his Palm Beach County home despite recent health concerns raised by former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Tyson recently mentioned King’s health during a conversation with rappers Cam’ron and Mase on the *It Is What It Is* podcast, saying, “Don is not doing well right now.” He noted King’s age, adding, “He’s probably close to 100 years old.”

King has indeed faced recent health challenges but is now at home recovering and called in on MReckTV.

He stated that he’s “alive and well” on the broadcast and that he loves Mike Tyson. He also revealed that he is voting for Donald Trump to be President of the United States again.

DON KING STILL PROMOTING BOXING FIGHTS

According to Daily Mail, Even in his nineties, King remains active in boxing, promoting fighters such as former champion Adrien Broner, and stays politically involved, backing Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. He is currently collaborating with the WBC and Three Lions Promotions to reschedule a cruiserweight title fight between Noel Mikaelian and Ryan Rozicki, initially postponed.

King also settled a 2022 legal dispute with heavyweight Daniel Dubois, who had accused the promoter of withholding payment after a victory over Trevor Bryan. Dubois is now set for a high-profile fight against Anthony Joshua in front of a record Wembley crowd this weekend.

King and Tyson share a complicated history; Tyson famously sued him for $100 million in 1998, claiming King had cheated him out of substantial earnings. The two ultimately settled for $14 million. King has faced similar legal battles with other prominent fighters, including Larry Holmes, Tim Witherspoon, Terry Norris, and even Muhammad Ali. Tyson once remarked that King “did more harm to Black fighters than any white promoter in boxing history.”

Despite the controversies, King’s legacy in boxing remains formidable, and he continues to influence the sport he helped shape.
