Diddy Will Testify In Trial Says Lawyer
P Diddy’s lawyer has announced that the rapper will testify in his upcoming trial, expressing his eagerness to share his side of the story in full.
Sean “P Diddy” Combs, 54, is facing serious allegations, including a lawsuit from his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura. Recently, he was arrested in New York on multiple charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Diddy firmly denies all allegations, with his attorney Marc Agnifilo stating that Diddy is determined to defend his reputation. Now in federal custody, Diddy is preparing to testify in court.
In a recent statement, Agnifilo mentioned Diddy’s desire to take the stand, particularly regarding a surveillance video from the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, which reportedly shows an altercation between Diddy and Cassie that is relevant to her lawsuit.
Cassie publicly accused Diddy in November 2023, but the two reached an out-of-court settlement shortly after. Agnifilo expects the video to be a focal point in the upcoming TMZ documentary, “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment,” airing on Tubi.
Agnifilo highlighted the significance of Diddy’s testimony, suggesting that it will include emotional reflections on his relationship with Cassie, marked by themes of love and heartbreak.
