Diddy Documentary Heading To Netflix Via 50 Cent
50 Cent’s G-Unit Films and Television production company has secured a significant deal for their upcoming docuseries, “Diddy Do It?”.
50 Cent announced that the series, which chronicles the increasing sexual assault allegations against Diddy, will be available on Netflix. On Tuesday (May 21), the G-Unit mogul took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, following a competitive bidding war for the series. In his post, he also took a jab at celebrity media outlet TMZ, which had produced a similar series about Diddy’s allegations, but for Tubi.
In his Instagram caption, 50 Cent expressed his irritation with TMZ for using an unflattering photo of him in their announcement of his series landing on Netflix. “TMZ used this fat boy picture of me because their doc went to Tubi LOL,” he wrote. “It’s okay guys, we’re all making good television, mine just happens to be the best! Netflix wins the bidding war, but if more victims keep coming out, I’m gonna need more episodes.@bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

However, TMZ quickly replaced the old photo with a more recent one of the rapper. In response, 50 Cent shared a post with the updated photo, writing, “Ok, TMZ put up a 2024 picture baby, let’s work! LOL.”

According to TMZ, the documentary was produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios and was highly sought after by multiple networks and major streaming platforms. While the release date has not been officially announced, sources close to the deal indicate that the series will premiere on Netflix “sooner than later.”
50 Cent has been discussing the “Diddy Do It?” documentary since March. Following raids on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes, 50 expressed his intent to gather evidence of Diddy’s notorious “freak off” parties to include in the series.
“Smh this is gonna be so good, what you want to bet I’m a get these tapes. I’ll pay top dollar for them, you been over there? I don’t go to puffy party’s,” he stated on social media.
This announcement comes amid news of another lawsuit against Diddy. Former model Crystal McKinney has accused the embattled rap mogul of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003, when she was just 22.
