Diddy Court Date Set As He Was Denied Bail For The 3rd Time

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Trial Date Set for 2025 Following Arrest on Sex Trafficking and Racketeering Charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to face trial on May 5, 2025, following his arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The trial date was confirmed during a hearing on Thursday, October 10. Diddy’s legal team had requested that the trial begin in April or May of next year. Prosecutors indicated that their case would take about three weeks to present, while Diddy’s attorneys estimated they’d need one week to make their defense.

The 54-year-old music mogul was arrested in Manhattan on September 16 after a grand jury indictment. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment with the charges, calling them an “unjust prosecution” by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. In a statement to *Us Weekly*, Agnifilo emphasized Diddy’s contributions as a music icon, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and family man. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo said, asking the public to reserve judgment until all the facts come to light.

UNSEALED INDICTMENT

The unsealed indictment revealed that Diddy was charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, with accusations dating back to 2009. The indictment claims that Diddy abused, threatened, and coerced women for years, using his business empire as a criminal enterprise to facilitate these acts. Alleged crimes include sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.

Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for prostitution. He was denied bail after prosecutors argued that he posed a flight risk.

In a September 17 interview with CNN, Diddy’s lawyer reiterated his client’s innocence, stating, “He’s going to go to trial, and I believe he’s going to win.” The charges come in the wake of multiple accusations, beginning with a November 2023 lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, which was settled the day after it was filed. Diddy has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct and trafficking.
