Former InterContinental Hotel Guard Claims Diddy Paid $100K for Cassie Assault Video

A former security guard at the now-defunct InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles has come forward with explosive claims about Sean “Diddy” Combs and the viral video of him assaulting singer Cassie in 2016. According to TMZ, Eddy Garcia testified under oath that the music mogul allegedly paid him and other hotel staff members to obtain and suppress the video — the same footage that CNN later released to the public.

Garcia took the stand on Day 15 of Diddy’s ongoing legal battles and described in detail how the situation allegedly unfolded. He claimed that Kristina Khorram, a representative for Combs Enterprises, first contacted him by phone, informing him that Diddy was intoxicated during the incident and had no memory of it. She requested access to the surveillance footage, but Garcia said he initially directed her to speak with upper management or secure a subpoena.

BAD BOY FOUNDER FRANTIC

Despite his refusal, Khorram later showed up in person at the hotel, still seeking the video. Garcia stood firm — until a second call came through, this time with Diddy himself on the line. Garcia described the Bad Boy founder as “frantic” and worried the footage could destroy his career.

Garcia testified that Diddy allegedly offered to “take care of him” — a remark Garcia interpreted as a cash offer. He immediately informed his supervisor, Bill Medrano, who reportedly said he would hand over the footage for $50,000. Garcia later called Diddy back to confirm they would cooperate. Diddy allegedly called Garcia his “angel” for agreeing.

VIDEO FOOTAGE RETRIEVAL

The deal moved forward. Garcia retrieved the video file from Medrano and delivered it to a building in Los Angeles where Diddy was waiting. Diddy questioned whether it was the only copy and was told by Medrano over the phone that it had been wiped from the hotel’s servers.

Garcia also claimed that during the meeting, Diddy FaceTimed Cassie, who reportedly said she didn’t want the footage to go public because she was preparing for a movie role. At that point, Garcia was instructed to hand over the IDs of himself, Medrano, and another hotel employee, Israel Florez. However, Florez refused payment, so Garcia substituted in the ID of another guard, Henry Elias, who had initially responded to the Cassie incident.

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS

Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) were reportedly signed, and Garcia stated that a total of $100,000 was handed over to be split among the three staff members. Khorram and a hotel security guard allegedly witnessed the transaction.

Garcia revealed he used his share of the money to purchase a used car. He later received a Happy Easter message from Diddy — but said that when he reached out about future employment opportunities, he received no response.

This testimony adds to the growing list of controversies surrounding Diddy, whose legal and public relations woes continue to mount. Stay tuned to WorldWide Entertainment TV for the latest updates on this developing story.
